Velocity Commercial Capital, LLC was founded in 2004 with the goal of becoming a market leader in the small balance commercial lending arena. The company offers financing to borrowers through a nationwide network of mortgage brokers. Velocity is a direct lender offering creative loan products on a wide variety of commercial property types.

The company is privately held, owned by management and a New York-based investment firm. The company’s founders brought a wealth of experience in both residential and commercial lending with the intent of blending the two disciplines to create the best product for this unique market.

Key Milestones

• July 2004 – Company founded in Westlake Village, CA.
• July 2005 – East Coast office opened in Stamford, CT.
• June 2006 – First securitization completed. [Rated by Standard & Poor's (S&P), Moody’s and Fitch.]
• August 2006 – Midwest Sales office opened in Schaumburg, IL.
